Schneider Digital Consulting Chicago provides courses and workshops on Project Management, Project Leadership and Agile Scrum.
Agile and Scrum are lightweight frameworks used by many software development projects. This workshop will show the main aspects of Agile and Scrum, it’s advantages and challenges. At the end of this workshop participants will have a general vision of Agile and how projects use Scrum.
If you are new to project management or is coordinating projects this course is for you. This workshop will present to you all the project phases, from start to finish. From requirement gathering to financials, risks and planning, this workshop will give the participants guidance on each phase so they can fast track the start of their project management career and support their current project activities.
The Project Model Canvas is a collaborative and intuitive way to collect all the information needed to start a project. Based on the Business Model Canvas, the Project Model Canvas can be used with all types of project methodologies and frameworks like agile and waterfall, and will give an overview about key project components (objectives, benefits, restrictions, risks, requirements, deliverables, etc.). During the workshop, participants will explore the canvas 4 construction phases: Conception, Integration, Resolution and Communication.
This workshop will benefit Project Managers, Scrum Masters and Product Owners to create a collaborative and visual project plan, allowing transparency and reducing planning time.
This course will present Scrum planning techniques considering the most common scenarios today. With real life examples in different project situations, this workshop style course will help you better plan while keeping maximum team engagement and a healthy view of the product.
Participants will learn how to estimate stories (T-Shirt sizing, relative story points and time), how to plan considering incremental deliveries, how to lead the team during the estimation process and what would be the best approach working with remote teams.

Projects today have complex team structures. It is common to have remote teams or remote team members, which requires a different level of leadership and collaboration. Technology has made it easier to have collaboration and provided different ways to communicate. However, to manage a remote team or an offshore team is required more than just communication channels.
This course address the challenges, risks and opportunities of working with remote and offshore teams. This course will also provides techniques to better manage, lead and communicate with the team considering language, cultural aspects, time difference and team setup.
